Flowkooler Water Pump for 87-90 Jeep Wrangler YJ with ...

FlowKooler water pumps solve low-speed overheating problems by doubling the water flow rate at low RPM & idle. At 3,500 RPM the flow rate returns to normal to prevent excess water flow at high speed. Independent testing has proven that FlowKooler water pumps produce 20% more gallons per minute at RPM and 100% more gallons per minute at 900 RPM than any other pump on the market today, including expensive racing pumps. FlowKooler pumps also generate 22% more water pressure inside the engine block than other water pumps. This increased pressure helps suppress engine hot spots, steam pockets, and pinging. In addition to higher output, the FlowKooler water pump is up to 32% more efficient than other pumps, meaning less horse power is required to turn it. The result is overall lower operating temperature by as much as 30 degrees when cruising at low speeds. All pumps are brand new (not rebuilt) and are covered by a 2 Year warranty.

Recommend replacing Water pump bolts? - Jeep Wrangler YJ Forum

I am in the middle of replacing Serpentine belt and water pump. I will Thermostat housing bolts because I can see rust on the bolts. Do you recommend replacing 4 water pump bolts? I don't see any damage or rust on the bolts though. By the way, these bolts are factory original, .
They aren’t wet.
I thought rembered those holes going all the way I to the coolant passages? ..maybe not.
If the hole doesn't go into a coolant passage, you shouldn't use thread sealant.
If the threaded hole does go into a coolant passage, I highly recommend permatex thread sealant paste.

Sorry for any confusion.
